I love these cards. My daughter started teaching sign language to my grandson when he was about a year old. He can hear. But she said that even though he cannot talk yet, he can still communicate through sign language about what he wants or needs. And it works. I am learning how to communicate with him this way too.

I was amazed at the level of detail and simplicity these cards provided. We started off with one per day, but now she’s moved onto her own and starting to form some words. I call that a success. Cards are very sturdy and easy to wipe clean. I love the little box they came in, sort of like a little library box.

The kids have been using them to improve their communication with their friends who rely on sign language, and have learnt a lot of new Auslan signs with these flash cards. Being clearly separated into four boxes is really handy as they can more easily find what they need, depending on what they're talking about.
